It really isn't difficult at all to land a first job as a new grad. As a new grad, you are open to any practice environment, are willing to work hard, can be molded by another surgeon/partner, and don't have any malpractice cases or disciplinary issues. You are flawless and moldable, a perfect combination.
No field experience . Experience is gained in Residency & Fellowship. Going Solo in different areas of practicing medicine and at times overuse supplies and equipment. Highest times in Malpractice cases.
Usually beyond internship, most people don’t have the experience many agencies prefer!
Lack of experience.
My residency was brutal. I only recently found a good fit. Now the trick is getting clients through the door successfully.
