A.I. is replacing. I tweak dictations b/c the tech still requires edits. In the current role I am in, the work is so top-heavy, I couldn't do the job without it. It's not my preference and wouldn't be necessary if the demands of documentation for dollars wasn't so critical. I can take care of twice the patients I see but there is no life balance for the work effort required to get all the charting done.
A.I. MEDICAL SCRIBING HAS BEEN AMAZING! GAME CHANGER!!!
LCPC & LMFT - I think it will replace notes & insurance submissions at least by assisting with them
I think it can be useful in prompting clinicians to ask relevant questions to determine the most accurate diagnosis while it has somewhat of a feeling of "big brother" watching, it may be helpful to consider it an assistant supervisor of sorts & may in fact help less professional clinicians become more professional.
No, because AI is devoid of emotions that is the center of being a healthcare professional.
Certain data gathering and record keeping
Human touch and the feeling of being understood by a human rather than a computer can’t be replaced. I hope AI assists with documentation, dx, interactions and that sort of thing. AI please help me with my documentation! :D
Just a side kick not the real hero and every hero should have a side kick
The answer is yes! AI needs to replace certain aspects of healthcare that take the nurse away from beside care, and the human touch can never be replaced.
Absolutely! AI will replace a large portion of the medical field. Those areas that rely upon algorithmic approaches, which is the majority of medicine (obtaining data, analyzing, diagnosing and treatment). A pleasant avatar and voice with which to interact… very little left that “only a human can offer.
There is too much focus online. The old school health care was way better where notes were kept in files. I do not like the new way online, as clients find it impersonal.
Human touch not replaceable as too much with technology now. I think that should change.
